Tickets are on sale for another concert in St Pancras. Saturday 25th May at 6pm. Doors open at 5.00 and the concert will finish c. 7.45 allowing for a 20 minute interval. Drinks are available before and during the concert.
This time we have a piano recital given by Iwan Llewelyn-Jones. Iwan is an award wining concert pianist as well as Director of Performance at Bangor University. Iwan has many recordings to his name, and tours regularly around the world. He is a Steinway Artist (although he will be very happy on our lovely Yamaha on the night!).
The programme includes some well known works such as Moonlight Sonata and Claire de Lune, and other works by the cream of classical composers: Bach, Schubert, Chopin and Beethoven, with some Ravel, Satie, Faure, Poulenc and Gershwin. A real treat for the ears, and an experience not to be missed.
Here’s Iwan saying a bit about the programme and giving us a sneak previewof his skills. Don’t let him confuse you on the concert start time: he says 7.30pm but it’s definitely 6pm. These artists live in another world, don’t they?!
Funds raised will be shared between the Church and the Village Hall project.
Tickets are available from The Rugglestone, Old Inn and Café on the Green: £15 for non reserved seats. Children under 12 go free.

Finally, another date for your diary. We have booked the fabulous Ferio Saxophone Quartet for a return visit on Friday 6th December at 6pm, when they will give us a lovely Christmassy programme of amazing saxophone arrangements. Not to be missed.
