On 21st June, tomorrow week, we are welcoming Iwan Llewelyn-Jones back to St Pancras for an evening of gorgeous piano music played by a top concert pianist.
Iwan visited us in the summer last year and was very warmly received. In this concert he will play Schubert, Brahms, Chopin and Ravel, and it will be one to remember. He plays from memory, and doesn’t seem to mind having an audience “up close and personal”, as you might say. We hire a grand piano for the weekend, and it fills the church with sound.
Iwan has played all over the world, including London’s Wigmore Hall and Queen Elizabeth Hall, Sydney Opera House and Leipzig Gewandhaus. He appears regularly on TV and radio, and has a range of recordings spanning the whole classical genre.
Tickets are available at the door: £15 for unreserved seats. Children under 12 go free. Or in advance if you prefer using this link.
If you would like a reserved premium (“soft”) seat close up to the piano you can email Michael Brown at mikebrown007@hotmail.com. These tickets cost £20.
Doors open at 6.30pm and there is a paid bar at the back of the church which can take contactless payments.
